Basic Philosophy
Returning profits to society is part of the philosophy and role of a business. However, we believe it is also necessary to back this up with behaviors that protect the global environment.
Based on the spirit of our motto, Quality Products from Quality Materials, Aoyama Special Steel cooperates with our customers and suppliers through the sale and purchase of mainly special steel and magnetic products. We do our utmost to preserve the global environment, both as an organization and as Aoyama Special Steel employees.
Environmental Policy
In promoting our corporate activities, we make every effort to address the following matters, in accordance with our Basic Philosophy.
- We promote resource conservation, energy conservation, recycling, etc. and aim to reduce waste.In addition, as a trading company, we strive to aggressively market environmentally friendly products.
- We continuously improve, implement, and maintain our environmental management system to enhance our environmental performance, including setting environmental targets, monitoring their implementation, and establishing a review framework.
- We strive to preserve the environment, including natural ecosystems, and to maintain and conserve biodiversity.Recognizing the finite nature of resources and energy, we respond to climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts by striving to use these effectively.
- We act to realize a sustainable society by preventing pollution, and by preserving and improving the environment.
- We comply with environmental laws, regulations, ordinances, and other requirements to which we consent in connection with our corporate activities.
- This Environmental Policy shall be made known to all persons working for or on behalf of our organization, and shall be made available to a third party upon request.
