To Our Business Partners and Employees
The directors and employees of Aoyama Special Steel are aware of their corporate social responsibilities, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their daily business activities. We promote CSR activities that conform to social ethics and earn the trust of society.
Code of Conduct
01.Compliance with laws and regulations
In all corporate activities, we comply with laws and regulations and conduct sensible activities in conformity with social ethics.
02.Respect for human rights
We respect individual human rights, and reject discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, social status, gender, age, or disability.
03.Preserve employee work environment
We respect the diversity, character, and individuality of our employees, and ensure that all are treated fairly and without discrimination. We also ensure a safe and comfortable working environment in which they can demonstrate their individual abilities and energy.
04.Environmental measures
We fully understand the impact of our business activities on the environment and strive to prevent pollution, provide products that conserve resources and energy, and promote recycling to reduce waste. We also engage in corporate activities that contribute to a low-carbon and recycling-oriented society, and contribute to building a sustainable society in which the environment and the economy are in harmony.

We are cognizant of the impact that our corporate activities have on society and our responsibility, and we conduct our business activities in a fair and honest manner while complying with all relevant laws and regulations. We do not associate with antisocial forces and groups that threaten the order and safety of society.

We endeavor to actively disseminate information, especially product information, and strictly manage and protect the corporate information of our business partners. We are constantly attentive to trends in products and technologies, and aim to contribute to society by providing high-quality, safe products and services that satisfy our customers and meet their needs.

We appropriately manage and protect information obtained through our business activities, and take protective measures against threats on computer networks.
08.Supply chains
We fulfill our social responsibilities during the business processes that create our products and services. We also practice CSR procurement, including compliance with laws and regulations related to hazardous substances and efforts to avoid conflict minerals, not only by ourselves but also through our supply chains.
09.Coexistence with local communities
We promote communication not only with our shareholders but also with our customers, suppliers, employees, and other stakeholders. As a good corporate citizen, we actively interact with local communities and conduct social contribution activities.

01.SDGs and CSR Activities
Aoyama Special Steel has established a corporate code of conduct and is promoting various initiatives centered on CSR activities to achieve the SDGs goals as part of efforts to realize a sustainable society.
As an environmentally-friendly company, in order to promote these activities, we have obtained ISO14001 certification and, when required, ISO9001 for quality control.
